On this hot day, let's review some of the watery places we've visited this summer...
7/22/10 -- Riding a friend's surf bike on Blue Lake, Minocqua, Wis., just yesterday! 
7/21/10 -- Smiling and splashing in Lake Superior at Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park in Michigan's Upper Peninsula
Testing the lake water. Soon, six boys were out swimming so I stopped snapping pics to keep track of heads! 
Instinctively building a castle & moat out of rocks. If time had not been running short, this fort would have become much more impressive! 
I have a photo of the boys at age 2 doing this same kind of concentrated effort in almost the same pose, different Great Lake. 
We hiked along the Presque Isle River Trail to get to Lake Superior. Some unusual rock formations on the waterfalls. 
6/24/10 -- "Saving" a great friend who accidentally-on-purpose fell into the lake at Independence Grove, Libertyville, Ill. Just like old times! 
The girls-only paddleboat!

And yet another watery event... 6/21/10 -- Crazy fun chasing around avoiding (and not avoiding?) the unpredictable water squirting at Crown Fountain in Millennium Park, Chicago!
